Introduction Welcome to Pedal's ‘Bike-As-You-Grow’ Kids' Bike Subscription Service. By subscribing to our service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Subscription Model
2.1. Subscription Plans: We offer subscription plans of a comprehensive range of kids’ bikes at an affordable monthly fee. Details of bikes, plans and fees are available on our website.
2.2. Bike Options: Subscribers can choose from a range of bikes based on the child's age and size. Bikes can be exchanged as the child grows.

Subscription Agreement
3.1. Eligibility: Subscribers must be at least 18 years old and reside in Singapore.
3.2. Account Registration: Subscribers must provide accurate information during registration and keep their account information up to date.

Payment Terms
4.1. Fees: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
4.2. Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods as indicated on our website.
4.3. Late Payments: Late payments may result in additional fees. If the outstanding amount is not settled within 3 months, Pedal reserves the right to collect the bike from the subscriber. If the outstanding amount is not settled within 6 months, it is deemed that the bike has been purchased and subscribers will be charged the balance of the purchase price and the subscription fee of that particular model paid to date. Pedal will take all necessary actions that may include legal proceedings to recover the amount owing.

Bike Use and Care
5.1. Proper Use: Bikes must be used as intended, for personal recreational purposes by children within the age and size range specified for the bike model.
5.2. Excluded Uses: The following uses are strictly prohibited:
5.2.1. Commercial use, such as rental or delivery services
5.2.2. Participation in competitive events of extreme sports
5.2.3. Use on unpaved roads, off-road trails or any terrain that the bike is not designed for
5.2.4. Alteration or modification of the bike in any way
5.3. Maintenance: Bikes will be properly serviced prior to delivery. In the event that the bikes need maintenance, subscribers can either return the bikes to Pedal or bring the bikes to an authorised bike mechanic commissioned by Pedal.
5.4. Damage: Subscribers are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Fees for repairs, spare parts replacement and labour cost will be charged accordingly. Normal wear and tear of a kid's bike typically includes:
5.4.1. Tires: Some scuffing or thinning of the tread due to regular use, but no significant cuts, punctures, or deep wear.
5.4.2. Brakes: Slight wear on brake pads, but they should still function properly. Brake cables might show minor fraying but should still be intact.
5.4.3. Paint: Minor scratches or chips in the paint from regular use, but no large areas of rust or significant damage.
5.4.4. Seat: Some wear on the seat cover, especially on the edges, but it should not be torn or heavily damaged.
5.4.5. Handlebars and Grips: Some wear on the handlebar grips, but they should still be secure and functional. Slight scratches on the handlebars are also normal.
5.4.6. Chains and Gears: The chain might show signs of light rust or wear, and gears might have some dirt buildup, but they should still function smoothly.
5.4.7. Pedals: Light scuffing or wear on the pedals, but they should remain fully functional and intact.
If there’s anything more significant, such as bent frames, broken parts, or excessive rust, it would generally be considered damage beyond normal wear and tear and would be subjected to additional charges that includes the cost of repair, spare parts and labour.
5.5. Loss: If the bikes are lost or stolen, subscribers will be charged as it was a purchase. The amount to be charged will be the balance of the purchase price and the subscription fee of that particular model paid to date.
- Delivery and Return
6.1. Delivery: Bikes will be delivered to the subscriber’s address in Singapore upon inception of subscription and subsequent exchanges to bigger bikes. $35 delivery fee will be charged outside the normal mode of operations and services.
6.2. Return: Subscribers must return the bike in good condition upon exchanges, cancellation or expiration of the subscription. Failure to return the bike will result in additional charges. Please see clause 5.5.
- Cancellation and Refunds
7.1. Cancellation by Subscriber: Subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time by writing to subscription@pedal.sg, with the subject : “Subscription Cancellation”. However, no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the subscription period. In the event the subscriber needs to cancel within the first 6 months of subscribing, a $35 delivery fee will be charged for the return of the bike.
7.2. Cancellation by Pedal: We reserve the right to cancel subscriptions for violation of these terms or misuse of the service. Refunds for such cancellations will be at our discretion.

Liability and Indemnity
8.1. Liability: Pedal is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use of the bike.
8.2. Indemnity: Subscribers agree to indemnify and hold Pedal harmless from any claims arising out of their use of the service.

Privacy Policy
9.1. Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary to provide the subscription service. Our privacy policy outlines how this data is used and protected.
9.2. Consent: By subscribing, you consent to our data collection and usage practices as described in our privacy policy.

Amendments We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Subscribers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
